2. Who writes this site
Mark Sandulli is the founder and editor of the Site. He is not a financial advisor, investment adviser, broker-dealer, certified financial planner, accountant, tax professional, attorney, precious-metals dealer or IRA custodian, and he is not registered or licensed as any of these. He is a licensed real estate agent in Florida and Connecticut; that license has nothing to do with this Site, and nothing here is real estate advice.
The Site reflects research from public sources such as company websites, Better Business Bureau records, government agencies and published data. Opinions on the Site, including rankings and scores, are our opinions only. Using the Site does not create an advisor-client, fiduciary, broker or any other professional relationship between you and us.
3. Precious metals are risky
Gold, silver and other precious metals can go down in value, sometimes sharply and for long periods. You can lose money, including some or all of what you put in. Precious metals pay no interest or dividends. Buying and selling them usually costs money (dealer premiums, spreads, shipping, insurance, storage and, for IRAs, setup and yearly fees), so you may get back less than you paid even if prices don’t move.

4. Prices and data can be wrong or out of date
Spot prices, dealer prices, premiums, fees, minimums, complaint counts, ratings and other figures change constantly. We try to keep them accurate and show when they were last checked, but we do not guarantee that any price, fee, figure or fact on the Site is accurate, complete or current. Live price charts come from third-party providers and may be delayed or wrong.
Always confirm the final price, fees and terms directly with the dealer or company, in writing, before you pay. The dealer’s or company’s own terms are the ones that apply to you.
5. Rankings and scores are opinions
Our Gold IRA rankings and other scores come from a formula we publish on the Site, applied to the information we could find at the time. They are opinions, not facts, guarantees or endorsements. A high score does not mean a company is right for you, and a low score does not mean a company has done anything illegal. Companies, fees and complaint records change; check the date on any ranking and do your own research.
6. Gold IRAs and taxes
Retirement accounts have strict IRS rules about eligible metals, storage, contributions, rollovers and distributions. Breaking those rules can lead to taxes and penalties. Our explanations are simplified and may not cover your situation or the latest rules. Confirm everything with your IRA custodian and a tax professional before moving retirement money.

The Site links to dealers, Gold IRA companies and other third-party websites. We don’t own, control or operate those companies, and we are not responsible for their products, prices, services, delivery, storage, buyback promises, customer service, websites, privacy practices or anything else they do. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed as little as necessary, and the rest stays in full effect. Not enforcing a part of these terms doesn’t waive our right to do so later.
