A strong choice for mid-size rollovers: a $20,000 minimum, fees posted online and few complaints. Buyback terms aren’t published.

Short answer: Noble Gold is our #2 Gold IRA company. It has a lower minimum than Augusta ($20,000), posts its fees online and has a low complaint rate. The main gap is that it doesn’t publish its buyback terms.

How we reviewed it: we scored this company with our published Gold IRA formula using its published fees, minimum, Better Business Bureau record (checked October 14, 2026) and buyback terms, plus independent reviews listed under Sources. We have not opened an account with this company ourselves.

What we like

  • $20,000 minimum, much lower than Augusta
  • Fees posted online
  • Segregated storage included in the yearly fee
  • All four IRS-approved metals
  • Online application

What to watch

  • Buyback terms not published
  • At the $20,000 minimum, yearly fees run over 1% of the account
  • Limited education content
  • Its “Royal Survival Packs” are for home delivery and can’t go in an IRA

Fees

Noble Gold lists an $80 setup fee and $275 a year, which covers administration ($125) and segregated storage ($150). Custodians can change their fees with notice, so confirm the current schedule.

These fees don’t include the markup on the metal itself, which is usually the biggest cost of a Gold IRA and is rarely itemized. Ask for the price over spot in writing before you sign. Gold IRA fees explained →

Complaint record

Noble Gold had 3 BBB complaints in three years against 241 BBB reviews, about 1.2 per 100. That’s the second-best rate we track. It holds an A+ BBB rating. Independent reviewers mention two common themes: being encouraged to invest more, and slow access to the buyback desk when markets are busy.

Selling your metal back

Noble Gold offers a buyback program, but it doesn’t publish the price it pays. Ask for the buyback terms in writing before you buy.

Who it’s for, and who should skip it

A good fit if you’re moving $20,000 to $50,000 and want fees you can see before you call.

Look elsewhere if you need a published buyback price (Goldco and Lear Capital publish theirs), or you have under $20,000.
