I'll be upfront about who I am. I'm not a financial advisor, a precious-metals dealer, or a gold expert, and I don't sell gold. I'm a licensed real estate agent in Florida and Connecticut, so I spend my working life helping people through big financial decisions. When I looked into buying gold myself, I found it surprisingly hard to answer two simple questions: what will this actually cost me, and who can I trust?
That's why I built this site. Here's how it works:
- Real prices, not sticker prices. We compare what you'll actually pay, including shipping and payment fees, and show when each price was last updated.
- Rankings with a published formula. Every Gold IRA company is scored on the same five things: fees, minimums, complaint record, buyback policy and transparency. You can check each one yourself.
- Sources for every fact. Our guides link to where the information came from.
- Honest about money. Some companies pay us a commission when you buy through our links. We always say so, and it never changes a score. If buying coins is cheaper for you than a Gold IRA, we'll tell you, even though the IRA would pay us more.
